lol i never said thati might completely get rid of my chickens and just keep ducks and geese. Since some ducks lay as good as chickens i dont need chickens for eggs. These ancona ducks are supposed to lay 210-280 eggs a year.
Wow, that's a lot of eggs! The heat down here has slowed down our egg production drastically. But it will pick up again after the temperatures start cooling down. By then, my Cayugas should be mating and laying.
