"Cheep", yes, I can just imagine...and off you doze again...and 'cheep" again!!  Will Moose be there to cheer her along?   And guessing games as to breed, too!  Great!  What are the possibilities, do you know?

 Moose is spending his first night alone outside. I don't have room for both brooders so i needed the "teenager" out to make way for the baby!
The flock Eggbert came from had mostly Embden, some Buff Back, Brecon Buff and 1 Sebastapol gander. To be honest I haven't even heard of half of those. She could have made them up, I just liked the pretty pictures of the gooses! :lau

Aww poor Moose did he not say he would sit still and be a good boy if you'd let him stay inside for the birth?

Brecons are a great breed, tough and good foragers, need grazing. they´re from Wales, obviously. Buff back is a buff-coloured saddleback, pretty. Embden everyone knows, and sebastopol, fo course, that so many on here have. sounds like an interesting mix of breeds there. How exciting! I do hope it´s a she. is it a big egg or smallish?
