They are big. Are they pure African?

Oh and I have 4 hatchery Africans, will they develop dewlaps, and if so, when?

No they arent pure Africans but they are BrownAfricanXChinese/Embden (they are a experiment) the male is developing a dewelp and getting a orange beak so its going to be interesting to see it grow

Dang. I was hoping for at least a small dewlap. Lol
Oh well, I won't love them any less for not having a dewlap. And since I'm going to let them cross with my Chinese I guess it really won't matter in the end. Thanks for letting me know.

But starfire they might not have a dewelp but they are carrying the dewelp gene so when your gosling next start having their own babies they will have 50% of getting a dewelp so you will eventually get a dewelp baby of your own
Ive a AfricanXChinese that has no dewelp (father has a huge dewelp) and he has a chinese goose as a mate and they produced 7 babies and 2 of those babies had huge dewelps when they grew
Sold the pair ages ago but ive a other gander that may turn out like your goslings

Yes haha brazil ive still 3 lavender africans(including one of mine) and all the ones i sold i still have brothers and sisters so we will see what they look like but i wasent on planning on selling but i got good profit so

But i still have 4 of the ones born at easter
for example ive one male and female AfricanXEmbden (male is the lavender African) and ive still my two BuffAfricanXBuffAfrican/WhiteChinese which i wont sell because i want to see what they look like and one has a feather on the beak

You know they babies i sold arent the ones i incubated myself or that were one my pictures but they are from my goose familys

Some will develop dewlaps with age. The girl I just lost came from metzer hatchery African parents. She and her sister both developed small dewlaps after they turned a year old, but their brother barely has a dewlap and he is over 2 years old now.
