Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

Shemales are possible

Thanks, guess I will just have to keep a close eye on Cream and see what happens.

I have a goose that has a real attitude, I thought she was a gander right up until she started to accept a gander mating with her, made a nest and sat on her eggs.  She´s bigger, taller.  She´s the boss of her clan, even over the gander!  She´s always in the front, first into everything.  But a goose.

Let's hope Cream just ends up being a bossy female. I really can't have more than 2 ganders. I would have loved 1 Chinese gander and 1 African gander, but with Noel being a confirmed gander I would rather Cream be female at this point.

Don´t you think you´ll already sealed Noel´s fate by calling him Noel?

It´s wouldn´t be so bad, because if you have a pair of true Africans, you can sell the goslings better.

True, although if Snow keeps attacking my mom he may take Neols place on the table. Lol. My mom, having cancer can't react fast enough to defend herself from him. So I may have to make a hard choice. I wonder if Utah would sell me some hatching eggs from his white Africans. I could then have a white african gander that's un-related to my Africans for breeding! That would be awesome. Still want some brown and pied Chinese eggs from 8 though, again for outside bloodlines. I am nearly certain inbreeding is a problem at the hatchery I got mine from.

Well, whichever one it is, he´ll be big by then! Do you live a long way from Utah? I remember reading about how well she packs her eggs, so may be ok. A bit of a long wait, though.

Better a long wait for quality birds than more of the heartbreaking issues we have had here. I would love a breeding pair of Whites though, gorgeous!

Love those saggy bottoms! :love

Lost my paint gosling that i hatched with my lavender :( it was a month old but was somewhat smaller than the other two. Was hoping it was smaller because it was a girl and not because of unseen problems.
