That´s why the greylags like it!    The Emerald Isle.
It rained here a bit today, about 10 minutes,  but we need more.  My geese still have grass to eat, but not as much as there should be. 

Hahaha. i wish i had you're weather only 10 minute rain! We had rain and wind all day :-Q

She´s in Scotland. Not far, though!

Hahaha. i wish i had you're weather only 10 minute rain! We had rain and wind all day :-Q

10 minute wasn´t enough, but it damped down the dust. In the summer we normally get tropical storms, so the rain comes down in buckets. That´s from November to February, so 4 months. Then there´s little rain for the rest of the year.
Last summer we had hardly any rain, so that means we´ve now had a year and a half with very little rain.
We need the rain to come down in buckets to replenish what´s been lost. Trouble is, I worry about the little baby things when it rains so hard.
Rain and wind all day is a bit of a bore, I know, but at least the geese are ok with it!
