Goslings of 2015 Hatch-a-Long

One week from Sunday i will have a possible 18 ducklings hatching. 5 of the 6 eggs i got from my own ducks are developing and are due 12 days later, im calling them Saxonconas since its my ancona hen breeding with my saxony type drake. If i get a 3rd goose egg today im going to put those in as well to check fertility & get some gossies of my own.
My runner duck hen started laying also, if i hatch those they will be Saxunners lol

I forgot my password of my old account would you believe it but what can you do :/
Anyway hows everyone doing? I'm ending up selling a bunch of my flock and my 7 buff African eggs are in the incubator for 5 days now and are due on the 28th of this month :D

I'm afraid with work and travelling so much I'm selling most of my flock of geese which is very sad :(
I am going to continue with one breed which is my brown and buff African geese so basically Africans.
It's sad that I'm doing this but I've no choice but to do it.
So I'm going to have only African geese by the end of this month.

If I didn't have it saved I'd never get back on here Serv. Hope you get some lovely gozzies from your hatch

I'm sorry your having to do this but sometimes we have to do things we don't like. Hope you can find them all great homes there in Ireland.

Lydia is sitting on a nest and is due (day 28) on the 17th with Pauline beginning to build her clutch now as well. Pauline has not gone really broody yet though.

Wish I was close enough to buy some of your stock. I can't imagine having to sell any of mine. I really feel for you but you have to do what is necessary.

Got my 3rd goose egg today and popped them into the bator they are due May 2nd. My young gander sure is full of himself, if you know what i mean. Hopefully they are fertile & they all hatch i never like putting just 3 in, too much of a chance at only one hatching and being alone. Once i get 3 more i will put those in as well.

Hello this is my first time raising geese I have two girls they are both still goslings but they are half the size of my layers (which are adults) I moved them out to the coop with my layers and they are fine but they are however picking on my pullets and my Roos by pulling out there feathers and wondered if there was something I could do
