Who's your funniest chicken? Does he/she make you laugh? Tell us here!

I'll start: Agatha Cluckworth, aka "Large Marge," is a gargantuan, colossal Barred Rock hen-- with *exactly* the teeny voice of Beaker, from The Muppets!

If she sees me doing chores in the yard, she hurries up behind me, and says in her Beaker voice: "Bee-bee-bee-bee!"

I sure do!
My silkie-cochin hen Ebony is my little entertainer. She can't see very well because of the fluff in fromt of her face. She'll peck at something several times before actuallt hitting it. She also loves our house. Several times I have come home from school to find her laying an egg on my bed! She makes the funniest sounds and is just plain halarious. She runs into things and trips over other chickens' and our feet all the time beecause she can't see! I made this video of her. It pretty much explains her, it's halarious!

Oh my gosh, she is hilarious!

It's Ebony's world, isn't it? She's assertive, she flies, and she doesn't give up for anything! :D That waltz is so totally her music, too. What a magnificent beard she's got! Funny girl!

My funny Silkie is Tiny Amy. She had to be helped from the egg but makes up for her size with character. She goes broody a lot and spend a lot of her time running round like crazy going "bip bip bip" and generally getting under my feet. She attacks Klingon, the boss roo, and kicks him, then grabs the feathers on his head until he runs off dragging her behind! She also spends a lot of time wandering round my neighbour's garden all on her own, she always finds a way in somehow.

A couple of days ago I was reading a cook book in the garden and she was trying to eat a photo of cheese!! Wish I had a video of her.

Here is a picture of Amy (the black one) in a dirt bath. Klingon is on the right.

Amy is such a character! Look at Klingon's hairdo in the photo-- as if Amy had just had him in a beak-lock!

Trying to imagine a hen trying to eat a picture of cheese: "Behold, the power of cheese!"

I have a red rooster name Reba Cluck-in-fryer (we thought he was a she till late summer and then he finally matured). Reebs as we call him now is a high stepper, most of the time marching around doing the goose step. He likes to hang out with the farm dog, a blue healer/Aussie Shep mix. Most of the time he's sleeping in her dog house, sneaking into the garage, or trying to snatch a piece of dog food from the dog bowl. The dog puts up with her, but I think Reba has a crush!

Reeba Cluck-n-Fryer?

A rooster with a dog for a buddy is cute. Soon you'll be explaining to guests why there's crowing coming from the doghouse. ;)

We had a rooster called Sooty. He was monogamous for a long time with a big red girl called Lucy. We had other hens - pekins and silkies, and he thought they were ridiculous! He loved his big red girl. Unfortunately she passed away. He mourned for about a week. Then one day, I came home and he wasn't there. Nope.

When I came home my elderly Italian neighbour hailed me: 'I have your (bleeep)a rooster, he's a in with my chickenee!' Tony heard a lotta squawking, and ran outside to find my rooster chasing his big red girls around their pen.

Yep, Sooty had hopped the fence because he somehow sensed there was some serious big red hen booty on the other side.

Who said chickens were dumb? Weird, but not dumb!
