Hey, does anyone have a good story or a random joke? I really just want an excuse to post that lol

Good idea hun, we all need a smile now and again

I will kick off with the day I phoned a straw supplier and ordered, you guessed it, some straw. Baring in mind we are in France and despite my fluent French this guy was speaking machine gun French.

When hubby and I arrived to collect our small bag at 5€ it turned out to be a massif full sized oblong bale for 50€ !

I was too embarrassed to turn it down, fortunately we had just returned from the tip so had our trailer to collect the mammoth thing that mostly went into our wood to provide refuge to hedgehogs and cute things - I put a sign up saying no rodents but I don’t think that helped. So, don’t like to think of all the rodents that are snuggling in there.
