Got Eggs??

I prefer duck eggs over chicken eggs. So do my children. We will be sore loosers when the ducks eggs show fertile as I plan to incubate them. LOL

Set them out where nothing can touch them and let nature and the air exchange evaporate what is inside. I have a couple hundred in a basket setting to dry. Ocassionally with VERY careful hands I roll them over and move them from top to bottom.

Quail eggs are so beautiful. Can you keep them with chickens?

Very nice Miss P! Wow, I thought I had a good day.

I went out this morning to check and had 5 sitting on nests at the same time. That's never happened before. No fighting over the best nest today.

I went out 2 hours later and found 10 eggs including one duck egg. I was so impressed with the lady's! I thought gee it must be a good egg laying day even though it's only 34 degrees out there.

Yes, but the bigger eggs you really need to blow. Even a quail egg that explodes will choke you out of a room. LOL
