Technically speaking, a GQ is just a barnyard mix as well. The only difference is the fancy label the hatcheries put on them.

I've never seen an Olive Egger that looked like that. Could she be an OE/Leghorn mix? Would that produce a greenish egg?

I personally figure that any chicken that produces a colored egg and doesn't meet the SOP for one of the accepted colored-layer breeds is, broadly, and Easter Egger.

Update! This girl finally layed an egg for us. The previous owner said she layed green eggs. He was wrong.

Depending on how many generations of mixing, she could be half Leghorn or 3/4 Leghorn or some other amount.
