AWWWWW!! They are so cute!

We have 8 1-day-olds coming next week to join our crew - we have only had 2 week-olds (all died by my dog - lesson learned) and then we replaced with 4 month olds (now 5 months). We can't wait for little fluffies in the house next week - thanks for sharing your pics!

By the way - love the dual-drink-vendor - water for the fluffies and Irish Cream for you! Need to put a straw in the bottle so you can access it better - too cute - lol.

Congrats - yes, that does look like a Barred Rock. Before long the black fluff will fall out and be replaced with feathers that have the barred look to them. Have to laugh at the pristine paper towel floor. When I got my fuzzy butts a few weeks ago, I set each of them on the paper towels and each promptly squatted and left a little pile. So - the pristine look didn't last long....

Oh yes, getting ready to put down new paper towels already- after 2 hours! And, don't laugh at the liquor bottle in the waterer

I needed something heavy, with a top they couln't eventually perch on. It was the right size. I have one of those lives that require 2 drinks per day: a small one before dinner- Crown Royal, and a big one after dinner- Irish Creme.

I just can't keep my hands off the babies! They are too cute. Have started coming to my hand to be picked up already.

Do you like the names my son chose? I do, as they are unique.
