Got meat?

A year later and here's my first go at this year's batch. Doing them younger this year than I did last to see if I can shave off a few weeks of having to feed and house them. I'm very happy with them.

Is that pork belly to the left of the birds? Looks like you know whats good on a smoker, lol. I was reading an article where a guy suggested processing geese at 13 to 15 weeks. I'm afraid there will be pin feathers also. I have five Embdem/buff cross birds and am going to try it. I'll post the results.

Those look delicious! :drool How old were they when you butchered them? I have some that are a few weeks old that I plan on butchering.
What breed are the geese?

They are! They were around 17 weeks old when I butchered them, and I have embdens, buff Americans, and production toulouse all together in one flock breeding willy nilly, so the birds I'm butchering are some combination of those three breeds.
