Got my first egg. PIC

I got my first ever egg. it was from my 16 week old black australorp. All my chickens are the same age. I got them all at the same time as day old chicks.
I was surprised I thought I still had 1-2 months to go. All that work finally about to pay off.

I got my first double yolker yesterday and it became a double dippy fried egg this morning with toast.

My pullets were hatched Sept 26th and I got my first egg three weeks ago - they've been laying 1-3 eggs every couple of days - today was a big surprise with FIVE!

16 weeks? Thats great. I have two australorp hens, and I am looking forward to getting eggs. They are only 3 weeks old, so it will be awhile, but I hope mine are early as well

I blew my first egg out. I still have it from my first chickens I got 2 years ago. I also got my first blue egg a couple of weeks ago and blew it out.
