Help! Please!!

Nope she has not had one before. I don't have one, I was just wondering if I could DIY one with a disposable mask.

Yes, I have been using hydrohen and I am giving her coconut water. Her crop feels like it got smaller but I will continue massaging it. She did poop another time around 3:40, but nothing since then. Do you think she can pass away from this?
It’s good her crop is shrinking. It’s hard to say what is going on. Sometimes I think they’re the toughest animals ever and they surprise me on the things they bounce back from but other times if you just look at them wrong they’re done for.

Keep nursing her the best you can and offering supportive care. If you feel inclined read through the threads I linked. They’re very long, but there may be some ideas in them about how to better support her if she is going through a toxic deworming situation.

Alright, I will read through them. Peaches bounced back and I had no faith in her. So im praying for her. Please keep her in your prayers. I will keep you posted.

Absolutely, I have been praying for your hens :) I hope that there is a bounce back and does the same as Peaches. Yes, please let us all know how she does.

The only other thing I can think of if this is from an overload of worms is the molasses flush described in post #27 of the last thread I linked. However, since her crop is clearing a bit, it’s hard to say if that is necessary.

Alright, my mom is telling me Snooze is eating cornbread. Thank you so much for keeping her in your prayers. ❤️

Okay, I am really worried her poop is green and I searched it up and that means that they aren't eating enough, its vibrant green. (Pic bellow) her crop is red, and her comb is floppy and pale. Please help! Im really worried.

No. Don't try to vomit her.

If you put her outside with her friends will she get up move around and eat?

Feed her her normal nutritionally balanced poultry feed and give her plain fresh water. If you feel you must give her something "extra" give her a Tablespoon of scrambled eggs as a treat.

Provide Grit (Crushed Granite) free choice.

Re-check the crop first thing in the morning before she eats/drinks.

This is after she's had a full night's sleep with no eating/drinking from dusk (normal roosting time) to morning when she normally gets up.

The thing is, she does not eat or drink without me putting it on her beak. So, try to give her normal feed she just wont eat it. When she is out with her friends she just lays down and sleeps. No eating, no drinking and no walking around. All day she has not done her feathers also.

Why shouldn't I try vomiting her? Nothing is moving along after the whole day of massaging and coconut oil.

If you want to vomit her, then do it. Just know that there's a risk of aspiration, they can choke and die or even inhale fluids/contents of the crop into the airway.

A crop issue if often a symptom of an underlying condition. Hard to know what that is sometimes. Most crop issues take days to resolve so patience is needed to continue to work on the crop and encourage her to eat and drink normally while addressing the crop symptoms.
