got my first egg today!!!!

i can't believe that on friday the 13th my RIR decides to lay her first egg....it is a beauty...about the size of a golf ball...perfectly shaped...light brown with some dark specks..good egg shell..i would post a pic but my camera has decided not to work..i do have a pic on my phone, if i can figure out how to transfer it to the computer i will post it... i'm soo excited!!!!!!

i was calling everyone i know to tell them about my first egg...my daughter (she's 7) thinks i'm nuts...my son ( he's 4) wants to know why we have her egg.....neither one wanted to try it after i cooked it...i have to say that it was very flavorfull..my first time for fresh egg and i think i'm going to like it!!!!!! weesy68, that is the cutest chick!!!!!
