Got my first egg!!!

Phew... as I was looking at my chickens and having serious thoughts of crock pot meals... I saw a small stone on the floor of the run that looked out of place... TA DA, first egg. Now... why was it on the floor and not in a nicely prepared nest that I have set up complete with golf balls???

Thought it was from my buff orpington since she is squatting and has such a red comb... NOPE, it was my GLW! Watched her today! So proud. Now... HURRY UP ALL YOU OTHER HENS!
