My hen that laid the eggs is a splash Maran. My rooster is a cochin bantam and my other two hens I believe are sebright. I'm not completely sure to be honest. If I post a picture could you take a look at them?
Oh yeah all those breeds will be setters. Just keep in that a hen will need to go broody to hatch eggs. This just means her body has to be triggered to sit for hatching. Letting the eggs build up will help but time of the year and heat are also factors. Keep an eye on the number of eggs she has. If/once she goes broody, don't let her have more eggs than she can cover. Also, don't let them build up so much that they start to break. But ultimately, SHE has to go broody. Regardless of what YOU do she will either go broody or not. Here is a picture of too many eggs. When I found her she had 31. That means she was laying for over a month.
