Got my first squat today!

Only a week after she started laying eggs!

I gave her some nice pats. I'm hoping all her eggs songs will encourage the rest of the flock. She is a noisy Barred Rock!

Congrats! Not all chickens will squat for you though. I have a few rebels that wouldn't squat for me for years. Now one of them squats for my son.

I have 1 out of 6 that will squat and allow me to love her for as much as I want she will not move until I stop stroking and loving her.
