After last years on-going fiasco (I'll say it again: never get chicks from the feed store on 6th Ave in Tucson Az--not AZ Feeds, but the one with the African Lung Fish) we decided to try again and get some more chicks.
Drove an hour out to Marana to this crazy, awesome hatchery/exotic bird boarder/breeder and picked up some little ones!
These guys just hatched yesterday:
Ameraucana--look at that little mini-beard!

Look at those feathery, bell bottom legs! I don't have a name for her yet so I've been calling her Disco Inferno
