Got Pecked

This chick used to be hyper aggressive...Not anymore...I'm guessing one of the other chicks got tired of it...I put some Bacitracin on.....This Chick wasn't aggressive at all tonight

BluKote is an antiseptic spray from the farm store that would be good to use--it will cover the red pecked area so the others don't keep pecking her.

Now I have a speckled sussex chick with a wound in the exact same spot......ugh.....

I got the BluKote....I have both birds separated from the rest and I've sprayed the affected area on both birds...How long do I keep applying?

Apply BluKote until the areas are no longer red. You only need to use it every other day or less. Be sure that your coop has enough room, something for them to entertain them selves, and a high enough amount of protein in the diet (I like 20%.)
