Got the new babies, but what could they be?? Updated pics!

yeah it would, what are the first feathers of the black ones? if they are white then they are either Australorps or JG (yellow foot thing doesn't work on hatchery chicks, but JG are huge even as chicks) if the firth feathers are black, then you look at the comb if it is straight (looks serrated now) then they are Barred Rocks if it is smooth, then they are Dominiques.

Chick 2. is white but she appears to have greenish-gray legs so it is a bit confusing, please look at her comb, if it is smooth with one tiny bump then she is probably a white wyandotte.

ETA: I just looked closer at the picture of the black ones, they on in the center or the photo has barring on her feathers so she is either a BR or a Dominique, I think that the other one is a Australorp but I am not sure.

Number 2 will be basically white, but could easily wind up with the black Columbian markings. Since there are no feathers on the legs, I'd guess Delaware, White Rock, or Columbian Wyandotte from that list. Looking at Feathersite for the Wyandottes and Rocks and remembering my Delaware, I can't tell by leg color.

On the black chicks I think the one on the left is a Black Australorp. The other appears to be a barred chick because of the white on its head, but I'm not sure which one.

Thanks for all the responses so far! I tried to take some more pics, to help. My dumb camera won't focus past a certain point, so I did the best I could. I will say that all my chicks have what looks to be a "serrated"looking comb. (except the Silkies that I also got). The little black one with no white on her head, her comb was very buried in her fluff. I also noticed that she has a black beak, while the black chick with a white spot on her head has an orange beak. I also have a pic of the light yellow chick, #2's, legs, to show the color.

Black chick with no white on head's wing. First feathers appear to be black and white? Couldn't get a pic of the feathers on other chick, but they appeared to be all black, no white ones coming in.

Thanks so much for any more input.

Also, I'm guessing that most everyone agrees that #1 is a Buff Orpington, and #3 is a RIR?

of # 4 &5 I think the one with the white on top w/ yellow beak is a BR, and the other my guess would be an Australorp though is sounds like a JG is also possible

I would say that #1 is a White rock due to the yellow legs; Buff orps have pinkish/white legs. #2 maybe Delaware...or EE. #3 RIR or New Hamp red. #4 Jersey Giant or Australorp. #5 Barred rock.

Whatever you got they sure are adorable!

Thanks everyone for your input! I would really love one of those little black ones to be a Jersey Giant, but I like Australorps too.

Regardless of what they turn out to be, I know I will be happy with them. It's been fun trying to figure them out!

JG chicks are giant, below is a picture of one of mine with another chick that was the same age--she was a Old English game.

My renewed list is:
1. White Rock
2. Some hatchery Wyandottes have straight combs, but I don't really have any ideas on that one, she can't be an EE because you ordered brown egg layers but the greenish leg do usually mean EE.
3.RIR
4. No spot on her head is an Australorp and 5. spot is a Barred Rock.
