Got the new Bator! (20 Fuzz butts out of 26 eggs!) PICS ADDED!

I guess you WOULD know wouldn't you. I just noticed the white digital one on the inside. I had only noticed the gray one, and the glass one earlier...Looks like you're covered! LOL

The results are in and this thing does work! I probably should have
waited 1 day longer before candleing, but I just couldnt resist. I
started off with 26 eggs. 1 egg I believe may have a blood ring as a
result of me trying to was off an egg that was a little dirty before I
set it. And the there were 3 others that I just couldnt tell yet, but
the rest are fertile and growing!!!! I just cant wait now for the
next candleing in 10 days. I had to go in my spare bathroom which has
no windows so it was pitch dark to see anything and still yet it was
hard but we will see if my guessing is correct. I will know for sure
next time. But so far it looks really promissing!

I could not resist candling today either. It is day three here. I have 15 Salmon Faverolle eggs that were shipped to me via FedEx ground and they are doing awesome. All show signs of growth. Only a few seem to have wierd air cells. I have three of my own eggs as well and they are doing good to. I know I am crazy, winter babies

Well, I had a casuality! My hygrometer fell down and broke one of the eggs. It made me so sad because even though the shell was all cracked the embryo was alive inside and I still had to take it out and throw it away before it leaked in the bator.

Today is day 7 and all is going good. I think I Need to add water today though humidity is down to 38%.

ps the second batch is due on Thanksgiving Day!!!!!

Today is day 19! We had a power outage for 6 hours the other night so I waited an extra day to stop the turning and raise the humidity! I did candle about half of the eggs and I saw movement in all but one and that one may have just been sleeping. So even though I thought they would be lost from the power outage all seems to be ok. I cant wait to see if I get any to hatch! Anything would be better than what I was getting before! I would be happy with 50%. But only time will tell. Keep your fingers crossed for me for the next few days!
