    (1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I guess you can classify me as "green as grass" to chickens. We have hand them for about 3 weeks

    (2) How many chickens do you have right now?
    small flock of 8

    (3) What breeds do you have?
Rooster is Black Jersey Giant & the hen collection is made up of Gold Laced Wyandotte, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Dominiques, Cochin, Welsummer, Cucko Maran,

    (4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Searching out care information on the internet led me to this site

    (5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I was born with the horse sickness [IMG] and that has led to a passion for raising Andausian horses for over 20 + years. Slowing down now to just riding. Hubby and I trail ride a lot

    (6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
As a support agent for software I spend all day on the computer so coming home and tending the animals grounds me. The critter collection at the moment is just the horses (2 Andalusians, 1 Morgan) and 2 Schipperke dogs plus a barn cat on patrol. The chickens are new but very enjoyable.
