Update, we made one long nest for them all to lay in. This is what I saw one day.

My 5 layers are doing this right now. I have 4 nest boxes in the coop and EVERYONE wants the one on far left. There is nothing special about it

This is my first egg laying season for my girls. She is not happy with me and on top of that I've got someone ( maybe her) breaking eggs or someone is eating them.

I have another update on my goofy birds They have been laying in the new nesting box just fine then I had a broody hen for over a month and now they all decided there going to make a nest in the corner of the coop ( Under ) the nesting box.
I give up

Those hens will surely lay highly unusual eggs.

Yep , I have two large boxes with plenty of room for my 3 gals to lay. They put all the eggs in one box!
