I was super busy last night and got too comfortable letting my chickens sleep wherever they feel most comfortable. Well one was on second story of the coop, like it should have been but I did not shut the door to the front so something came in and snatched her out of it. There was also three chickens that decided they wanted to sleep on the roof and five that decided they wanted to stay the night on the ac unit across from the coop, but whatever it was didnt touch any of them. Thankfully the chicks were already shut in their little coop, but whatever it was decided to target the one chicken inside. It's a second floor so it's pretty high up off of the ground. Can anyone tell me by what the animal left behind, if it is an owl or a raccoon that has done this? We have both that are around here, and I've seen both. Thank you very much, I'm so sad about this outcome bc of a mistake that I made.
