Hi all! We have just gotten chickens for the third time. I got some 10 years ago (I was only 11) but then moved country and had to leave them behind. We had a large flock out in Ireland
But eventually moved back to England. Now we have 5 chickens named Batman, Robin, Joker, Harley and Flash. Pretyy sure Harley (my chicken according to my little brothers) is a girl but yet to determine with the rest. Found this website in trying to determine chicken breeds for the new flock.

Thanks! Yeah I've posted some pics on there. We've had rhode island reds before mostly but we have a black chick now. We were also facinated by Robin's comb as we've only ever seen single combs before.

Top left is Batman. Top right are Joker and Flash (Joker in front). Bottom left is Robin and bottom right is Harley. Joker, Flash and Harley are 7 weeks, Batman and Robin are 10.

Robin is the calmest bird I have ever met. Happy to be picked up, carried round and cuddled, even more so than my my cat. Flash is fast and has almost escaped on a couple of occassions already. Joker is almost definitlely a roo. He puffs up a lot and is the biggest and has the biggest and reddest comb. Harley is friendly and the least troublesome. She's happy to go away at night and enjoys staring at our cat. Batman is in every bit equal to the superhero. A bit of a loner and often separate from the other chickens but very calm and friendly.
