We have three barred rock hens we named for "famous" children stroy hens; Rosey (Rosey the hen went for a walk kids song/story), Henny Penny, and Cluckey from Robing Hood..the one where Robin Hood is played by a fox.

My son named our 2 dutch bantams roos Peck - n - Er. They happen to be brothers. My son was 8 at the time.

We also have Nugget. He's another dutch bantam. He got his name because if we ever had to butcher him - heaven forbid! - he wouldn't even make a Mcnugget!
