gotta problem with a 'coon I think???*UPDATE*

I hate to shoot anything, hardly even eat meat. Caught a possum in the coop late one night? Shot it and have no regrets.
I even did the ultimate recycling. Took the body out to the edge of the property to feed the turkey vultures.

Raccoons and opossums, foxes, hawks, etc. are all hunting in the daytime this time of year. Stay vigilant!

I wasnt talking about the red scope light on a gun!!!!!!

I meant the ones that people are putting out to scare the predators off! the ones that look like another predator?

it is the red light that the predator does not see most animals are color blind if they cannot see the light what effect could it have on them ??

I have a red piece of plastic over the front of a powerful flashlight I cast a light onto the animal so I can see to shoot I am sorry if I did not explain it well

ahhhhhh I see! I didnt know most animals are color blind! i am glad I did not invest in one then. I do like the idea of the red plastic over the flashlight. would be a lot better to see the coon and him not see me as much. Well, he is disposed of now and I have not seen another one at all. Kinda surprised of that.

When you use lead to dispatch something please bury it deep. By feeding the lead filled carcass to the Vultures you are poisoning them.

I use steel shot in my shotguns or lead free in my 22. It's law in California for a very good reason.
