I haven't had a child with autism, but I've heard too many mothers say their child was fine, got an immunization, and they were never the same. I tell you, if I get my child immunized, and that day I see he's not himself anymore, I will feel like the most deceived person in the world. Likewise, if this happened to me, and I then heard people boo-hoo-ing my claim, I would feel they are the most deceived people in the world. I have not had this happen to me, thank God, so I can not say for certain, but I have no reason to discredit these mothers. What a tragic thing to have happen to your child.

For you parents with small children, think about them. Think of what they said to you today, what they laughed at, what you did together. Now picture one day, you give them something to eat, and they just stop talking. They just stare. And they never come back. Can you IMAGINE????? How heartbreaking. My heart goes out to these families.

I don't know if autism was there already, or if immunizations created it, or if they enhanced it. That's just it. I don't know. And I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that a lot of the people who boo-hoo these people don't know either.

But these parents will ALWAYS wonder "What if we had not done the immunizations....."

eggs4sale thats what i think about everytime i have to go get my kids shots. ds had a bad reaction to the dtap shot, the VA drs said that unless his thorught closed up, it wasnt an *allergic* reaction and i should go home. luckily his civie dr says we wont give him his last one of those. i just never took him back to the va drs. now i read about those parents whose daughters DIED after getting gardasil and hear the gov say, oh its safe, those MIGHT not be related to the vaccine..... NOW they say yeah we have this brand new vaccince, try it out for us. its safe!

what really is starting to scare me now is i'm pregnant. everyone is saying that if i dont get vaccinated I or my baby Will die. now ya'll know how paranoid preg. women are to start with... now i have to add this too??? i was dead set against the vaccine, but as i see each headline saying another pregnant woman died from this flu, i think about my kids and wonder if its hype or i m being negligent.

I had the Gardasil vaccine. I'm fine.

I bet you could look up every single medicine there is and find one or two people who have died from it. The problem is that people make so much hype out of the one or two bad reactions that everyone else is worked up into a fearful frenzy.

The flip side to the swine flu coin is "what if" you don't vaccinate and you get the swine flu? What then?

Either you vaccinate and maybe have some kind of reaction, or you don't vaccinate and possibly get deathly ill. There really isn't a good solution either way, and unless you swear off contact with other human beings for the next season or so, there isn't a way to really, truly protect yourself or your family. After all, people are infected with things long before they show the symptoms. A kid could infect his or her entire class or school before anyone knew he was sick.

Swine flu is totally overblown. Wasn't there an incident a while back with soldiers getting H1N1 vaccines (with horrible side effects)? I think Ron Paul talked about it...

Many people gets shots all the time and are fine but it has to do with how many vaccinations you are getting in a short period of time, how your body works at metabolizing the toxins and how strong your immune system was initially as well as your overall diet. Diets high in processed foods and sugars only adds to the problems.

Kids get colds and flus all the time in school ... that is called building immunities, unfortunately

that is how our immune system works naturally. We're learning all the time that there are many consequences to altering the natural way our body deals with things... I have a feeling vaccine overload will be one of those things we discuss in the next 20 years or so and look back and say ....how stupid and egotistical could we have been?

Many folks die every year from the reg. flu. This one isn't much different.. just more hype. The ones in danger are the elderly and sickly... those are the ones who should consider getting this vaccine. ..The rest of us will have some poos but we'll be alright
