GQF 1502 or Dickey

lol I understand what the 2 x 2 is but how does the humidity work out? How do you hatch 2 trays while you're incubating 2 trays in the same cabinet? Isn't there a humidity conflict?

So long as you don't have them hatching too close in time to each other it's not a problem. I set mine up to hatch one week apart. This gives the younger eggs a chance to lose the additional moisture they need to before their final three days arrive.

I do have a Dickey 2x2 and like it right well. Just at the moment I have a batch of turkey eggs and another of Maran eggs that I set one week later in the box. Come this Friday I'll set another batch of turkey eggs and a mess of chicken eggs. Everything timed to hatch one week apart.

I'm glad you posted this topic. I've been asking myself the same question, which one to get. I've heard good things about both. Right now I'm leaning towards the Dickey.

I have a Brinsea 20 adv ex. Its a rock solid incubator. My new Dickey holds temp and humidity just as well as my Brinsea. It recovers both very fast as well when opening the door for candling and such. I have been nothing but impressed so far.

Got my Dickey in today and set it up. I am dialing the temp in as we speak. So far, I am impressed with it. Especially the service that I have gotten from Mr. Dickey. He really makes a great product and his customer service is #1. I think I made a good choice!
