Anyone here using the GQF 1550 cabinet hatcher? I'm seriously contemplating getting one. The main reason is I want to individually breed three Barred Rocks and three Rhode Island Reds, so I'll need to hatch their eggs separately so I can toe punch them by their respective mothers when they're ready to come out of the hatcher. I probably could fabricate barriers out of hardware cloth for the hatching tray I have in the 1502 to keep them separate but I'm hoping to be breeding from a couple of additional hens the following year and going forward, so the separate cabinet hatcher with several trays seems to be the way to go. If anyone is using the 1550 I'd be interested to know how it's worked for you.
