Two dozen eggs in the "Mega-Bator" became one dozen about six days ago after final pre-"lockdown" candling. Submitted for your experienced/educated guesses as to breed - here are pics of the first hatchling at less than 24 hours old.
The farm these eggs came from offers the following possible breeds (breeds are segregated by coop, so no X's...): Rh. Isl. Red, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Red Wyandotte, Barred Rock, Red or Black Star, Jersey Giant (white or black).
Three more (distinctly different looking than this first one) have now hatched - pics will be taken tomorrow after they have dried and fluffed out.
