Yesterday our goose started to act funny. She was wobbly and disoriented. Today she can't open her mouth, I tried and nothing. She just stands there and wants to put her head down. She isn't eating or drinking. What could be the issue? I have an appt with the vet this afternoon but im worried something is terribly wrong.

This is what I found online: https://www.justanswer.com/bird-vet/3tt9e-female-goose-can-t-open-bill-cleaned.html (Update: Note: just read the post - the website's paid service has several fraud complaints)

Other questions:
Is the temperature over there warm/cool enough for a goose? Any mold/fungus/dust issue? Is the water clean?

If you happen to live in the Portland, Oregon metro in the United States, Dove Lewis is a 24-hour vet hospital that also sees birds, but you'll need to call them first: https://www.dovelewis.org/ Also in the same area, the Avian Medcal Center can see your birds without appointments if they happen to be open: http://www.theavianmedicalcenter.com/

I have no answer but please understand I have questions the vet will have.
Did something happen to her neck her life line. Its everything to a goose
was there a possible injury.

ok that being said Im going to tell you about my big screw up this year. I went to catch one of my younger girls and during the catch she went into flight I pinched her neck. She spent 2 days in circles. couldn't get her balance well. Couldn't eat because she couldn't bend her neck right to run the water down her neck. couldn't drink because she couldn't lift her neck.
