Hung the 2 old homemade layer cages I’ve used for years back up this mornin and just ran water lines to each and added the J feeders back.. now I need to move 16 hens out of grow out cage and they will be all set to start layin in a few weeks.. and add a rooster to each cage too..

Nice. Those appear small to me, but that's just my perception I'm sure. Ours free-range and when I have an issue bird, as in broody, they go in the dog kennel, which is 9' x 12' which is the only cage I have other than the parrot ones. :)

Cleaned the quail shed.. move the litter to compost pile and put new wood chips down.. I try to do it once a month or when the chips get 6-8 inches deep.. I add a thin layer of chips 2-3 times a week or when it rains and the chips get wet..

24x30, 10 inches high in rear and 12 inches in front.. I made these from scrap cut off from my hanging rabbit cages.. poor man has poor ways.. I’ve raised hundreds of breeder quail in even smaller units, sometimes it may get a bit crowded but they all do just fine.. 6-7-8 birds max..

Ah. This post is in the quail forums. It's easy to miss if you're just browsing new posts, though.
I was only checking the list of posts that had no answers yet. They don't sort them there. I will start checking the heading above the post as it's pretty obvious now. Thanks!
