Is there a grain that is used as a stool hardener? And is there one that's more nutritious than the rest?
Thanks,

I have always used cooked brown rice. When cooking it add some extra water so it is not chewy. I usually add steamed garlic to it to make sure worms are not causing a problem. 1 cup rice too 1 1/2 cup water, boil water, add rice and stir a few times, cover pot, reduce to low heat, cook 45-47 mins. Make adjustments if in high altitudes .----(for my silkies I have about 21, I would use 4 cups of rice too 6 cups of water)---- I use a garlic cooker from amazon.com to steam my garlic heads. The instructions for the machine say use oil but water is best. Wet the ceramic ring, add just enough water to the bottom of the metal bowl/ holder. Rub loose skins off large garlic heads, stuff as many as you can into the bowl/ holder......heads can be torn apart and individual cloves tucked in around the other heads.Dont cut off the tops of the garlic ..that is wastefull.....Close it up and Press the button it will take est..24 mins. Let the garlic cool. Cut the garlic heads in 1/2 and squeeze into the cooked rice, smaller cloves just squeeze, add to the rice. Mix and portion out into 3-4 big servings for the 3-4 days you will feed it too them. I usually feed it in the morning.

If u cook the garlic u have already lost the worming enzyme in the garlic!

From the research I've done, using ACV in their water is awesome for regulating their tummies Active culture yogurt is good too and adds protein.

I was assured by my vet teaming the garlic was okay.

If paricites arnt present, chances are the proetien is to high in the
diet, easy fix ad cracked corn or another high energy grain, that
is lower in protien.oats? Wheat, starchy! Get away from soy beans.
