Been reading all round this forum and havent really found a definite answer about feeding grain screenings to chickens.
The elevator in town is willing to sell their screenings for 50 dollars a ton.
I am thinking thats a pretty good price for chicken feed.
Im sure it wouldnt be 16 percent protein, but with all the various seeds etc in the screenings it should be okay for em, right?
If not screenings what could I get from the elevator to feed my chickens properly.
They dont sell chicken feed but do sell grains.
Could I buy a mix of something, maybe with a little corn, some wheat or barley and maybe some millet?
