grandson opened incubator on day 21 now eggs have stopped moving help!!

Day 21 eggs were moving like crazy.n Grandson got caught in room he opened incubator temp didn't drop to much but eggs have stopped moving. no shells have even a crack in them. Are chicks still alive?

I Wouldnt worry .. They will probably still be ok.

thank you so much I am worried to death I have never done this before I just saw 2 of the 7 eggs move thank God! I feel a little better

Just make sure your humidity stays up. And don't open it again!

humidity is up and 2 eggs have moved and I have room on lock down now

Good Luck ! And please Being a First time Hatch er no matter how tempted you are to help it is soo much better for the chicks to do it them selves.. If they cant they were probably to weak to make it any way, but there can still be tiny veins still attached and yolk top be absorbed .. It is a horrible feeling to assist and have one die .. Guilt hurts ..

I'm waiting it out hopefully at least 3 will hatch because my grandbabies have picked out their eggs

Oh I sure hope so .. I had two Grand daughters come running over this morning to check on three in my incubator .. Sadly I had to tell them one had passed away .. But even that can be a shared lesson if handled Gently.. I have a few more due on the 25th and that's my twin Grand daughters First Birthday .. I know its silly but I am hoping to get two that look very alike on their birthday : )
