that’s what I’m thinking. She hatched from a brown egg. Dad is a white egg breed. She’s a pretty big bird.so she will lay white eggs ? Cool . She is getting red.
They’ve both been red since 15-17 weeks

They’re 25 weeks now

Ok I suck at duck breeds but it’s either the big white one or that dark one right beside it in the last pic?
I was close lol I was trying to compare colors from what I knew were female based on your broodies.Big white one in the middle of the last pic. Twice as big, bill is twice as red. The only other male is stretching his wings in the second pic.

Hahaha I do that too! Unintentionally of course. With the exception of a few brown birds, they all fit into a black/white/gray color scheme that I didn’t realize I had created.

I just finished getting my cards addressed! But I missed the PO hours for today, so I’ll have to get stamps Monday.
for some reason I was thinking females were mostly white while male had more color and little white.I think scovies can be any color, because I have a black male and a black female, and same with the white. The brown duck is a female Rouen, the only one left. A breeder near me has silver appleyard ducks... very tempting.I’m going to move the ducks to the pond in January.
