Granny's gone and done it again

It not the stirring that's all done in the mixer, Then need to firm up before using cookie scoop and rolling into balls, then roll in sugar and then press with the bottom of a cut glass (in my case glass) sprinkle with colored sugar and bake.
so make the dough today and cookies tomorrow .
 
Have you made so much fudge now that you can just look at the way its boiling and tell its ready ? LOL I used to moons ago.

sort of but still use a candy thermometer just to be sure TO much work and expense to take a chance.
