yep we cut a BIG hole in the wood screen door and then a couple eye hooks with a metal rod . The rod has a clear truck floor mat wrapped over it and then the matt screwed to itself

LOL that's how I ended up with Birdie (black cat) she came in the pet/dog door and never left. Also how I get at least one annual bat in the house.

Oh granny. I know what to get you for your birthday... a big wall map of the world! The boys grew up with a world map shower curtain. They always aced their geography tests.

To answer your question though, Malta is in the Mediterranean Sea (near Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal... those countries). Brazil is in south America, very far from the Mediterranean. The resemblance you see is probably due to how many people from Spain and Portugal settled in South America, particularly the Portuguese in Brazil. Official language of most countries in S America is Spanish, but Brazilians speak Portuguese.

Annatto. Been reading that on the label forever, and never knew what it was, so looked it up. It's a seed from tree. (achiote tree from S America)

honestly not to bad and the cold air for the most part goes straight down into the basement I usually never shut the "real door" Door faces due east and opens on to the back deck

I took a seed pod from the hospital that looks a lot like that one. Does it grow here ? Hmm.. They planted naturals. I saved it and the seeds inside for spring.
