Sunny and cold, with a high near -5. Wind chill values as low as -30. Northwest wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

I wonder if the yaks are actually going to seek a little shelter today.

people with bad hearts are effected by the cold. I dont know how that works but I know it to be true.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Well house is sort of back in order, on load of dishes to take out of dishwasher and the crock pot is just going to have to soak over night, Midnight Mass was wonderful. I finally have the house to myself. IT WAS A WONDERFUL DAY AND EVENING AND EARLY MORNING !!!!! I hope everyone's is as good as mine was.

We are having a wonderfully relaxing Christmas. Dad, brother, and sis left by 9 last night, I got the dishes done, and we didn't have to wait for anyone to come over this morning to open gifts because my family are all a bunch of hermits at heart. Also, we do not have to hurry up anything because we don't have to drive the hour north any more. Very calm and relaxing. But we still miss MIL.

I love all the cards,i have them hanging around my door...Merry Christmas to everyone..

I put it on watch. Just in case.

It was a quiet morning, and I had just turned the computer on to say hello... then everyone woke up and Christmas festivities began. Just the 4 of us opened a few presents. Scooter had the best time! He sniffed out his box of dog treats, got a biscuit, and ran to his blanket to crunch it up. Then he found his new toy and has been running around with it, shaking it to death! He's having a little nap now, with his curly ribbon necklace on.

Mmmm... I had 2 eggs on some fried ham. Mmmmm. And I picked the 2 eggs that were laid this morning! yummy yum. The yolk was still warm in one of them.
