Granny's gone and done it again

I suppose you run pure antifreeze in your vehicle's at those temps, Twist. and plug in a block heater when not in use?

block heater YES and then usually only a couple hours before going anywhere. If I have to go somewhere sooner I also have a truck in the garage I don't worry so much. Yet another reason I prefer fords they have GREAT heaters.

block heater warms an engine to increase the chances that the engine will start as well as warm up the vehicle faster than it normally would in extremely cold weather. The most common type is an electric heating element in the cylinder block, connected through a power cord often routed through the vehicle's grille. The block heater may replace one of the engine's core plug

There is a kid on the emergency thread whose parents won't let her bring their lab inside and it is having pups outside! I was trying to help but she is not responding now. Too upset! I wish i could be there to help!
This is why I don’t think they should let kids on here. Can anyone imagine leaving a dog outside in that cold to have her puppies. :barnie:he
