Yes, and he almost died as a youngster when he landed on the rabbit cage and Chicory bit off the tip of one of his toes! Lost a lot of blood. Took him to an avian vet who was shocked he had survived, gave him a shot of antibiotic, and sent him home with instructions on how to set up a moist, heated recovery pen.
Lupin is on the larger side, so I think that helped him survive. Not as big as a budgie, though. His cage is next to the cockatiel, so he has a little company since his cage mate died several years ago.

No, not that big. He is just slightly larger than the spindly little ones you see in the pet stores. He has a lovely big head too. Sturdy looking bird, like he won the genetic lottery.
