I dislike mixing breeds in general. But i may cross my chickens to give resistance to the sussex and color to the polish. It would be interesting. I wonder if anyone knows what you get crossing speckled sussex with buff laced polish?

Guess i should go feed and water the guineas and check up on all the animals. I wish my work shop was insulated. That is on my to do list.
Anyone plan to celebrate tonight? Someone better watch granny, she drinks too much!

most of my mom’s family is shorter than I am. I’m about the same height as the guys. Besides haven’t you heard? The short ones are worse than the big ones. More concentrated I think lol

Last day of 2017... Can't say I'm sorry to see it go. We've had better years in this family. Hoping 2018 brings happier times.

No plans for me tonight. Hubs and older son are visiting family in Arizona. Younger son and I are holding down the fort here at home.

I bought myself a "healthy" salad at Trader Joe's. It has quinoa, farrow, kale, sweet potato, dried cranberries, and pecans with a dressing. It's not too bad, but with every bite, I feel like a cow chewing her cud. chew chew chew moooo Maybe that's part of the healthy aspect... all the exercise I am getting chewing! I feel healthier already!

wishing, Remember me telling about Twists "raisin" cookies but they were cranberrys ? I think they were. Anyway, Check it out., I had the seeds stuck in my mouth and I took them out then for some stupid reason I swiped my finger on top of the dirt my little potted plant was in. YUP, They have sprouted ! Little tiny things . Crazy

Especially after being baked. The high temps are supposed to kill the seeds, but it's hard to keep a good weed down!
