Ya have to be, back is hurting after shoveling today. Plus I pulled some snow of 2 of the coops to free up the roof vents with a snow rake. Was nice to have silence for a little bit. It's absolutely beautiful out there with the snow hanging off everything. Would loved to have been able to get my camera out & taken some pictures, but have the kiddos. Hubs gave me a hour reprieve from them thankfully

Happy late bday, Cap. Happy New Year everyone. It was cold today & will be colder tomorrow. Going to have kale tomorrow as wallyart did t have turnip greens. May cook rutabeggars with the kale. Gonna roast a whole chicken in my nuwave oven thingee that I rarely use.

Thanks Jane! Still eating birthday cake.
I did go back out to the workshop and made one bunny water warmer. And did some clean up. I was out there for about an hour. It was 28 in the shop. The heater raised it to about 32 by the time i left.

Well Walmart had no ham hocks. I wanted to make a pot of black eyed peas for tomorrow. I asked two different people. They said go blah blah blah store. Why doesn’t walmart have them. This world has really gone to hell in a handbasket.
