They had oxtails. You mean to tell me that Walmart’s in the south don’t have ham hocks? That is very un southern.

Boys finally down for the count, phew.... Not certain what time Mom & Dad get back in town tomorrow, but I sure hope it's early in the afternoon. Not holding my breath as they have many hours to travel back from their weekend away.

They had oxtails. You mean to tell me that Walmart’s in the south don’t have ham hocks? That is very un southern.

Haven't had oxtail soup in a lot of years. Mom made a great soup out of them.

I never had oxtail . Use some fatback . salt pork or just bacon grease .
I cant hardly ever find ham hocks or neck bones. Thats why I got tickled when Twist sent me some.

people dont know whats good. I asked for neck bones at the meat market and guy looked at me like I was nuts
