Granny's gone and done it again

:thumbsup I was telling my hubs if I wanted to get serious about Christmas decorations, I should study the Hallmark movies. Some of the sets are great! Just don't know what you do with all of it when Christmas is over. My junk room runneth over.

I liked tracking the props from one movie to the next. The big outside pinecones in the eaves of one movie (forgot the name, about in interior designer and her fake fiancé who hired her to decorate his house for the tour of homes) were on the tree in the mistletoe promise.

I used to store all that stuff in the attic, when we had one. Got rid of most of it. No one sees this house much anyway. I did get a free wreath today, someone was throwing it out! Still had a $15.99 price tag on it! So next year the chickens get a wreath on the coop!:lau if i still have any...

I remember them on the outside of the house! Never seen anything like those and I thought they were cool. I may have to watch Mistletoe Promise again  if I haven't erased it.:D

Mornings, I am gonna get laughed at I know this already. I read a post on a chicken site that has me puzzled.
Okay, this may be a very odd question, but it is most definitely a "medical" question, but can roosters have smaller penises or no penis at all? Last summer, I took my time and picked exactly the best roo for his demeanor, but I was in the coop a lot this weekend and I have 3 hens that are missing feathers on their wings and back and I have learned that it's because they are getting mounted, but he can't get it done. I see him mount and I see her vent open and then it's like he is stuck in her feathers up on her back. I need fertilized eggs for broodys this spring and summer and I don't want chicks from a dude that can't do the job. He is amazing otherwise, totally my buddy, tells the hens when there is food and treats, protects and bosses them and he is great, but I need fertilized eggs. Is he not smart or maybe not equipped? He is about 8 months old, will he figure it out? I've only had roos for a couple years and this situation is totally new for me. I apologize for its nature, but I honestly need an answer! TIA.
Answers to this persons question is that Roosters dont have a penis. :hmm They do right ? Its on the inside right ?
