I get a sense of that by the way he is held. Does he let you just pick him up ?

I added a pic. I usually have to corner him or pick him off the roost, but after that he’s pretty easy going. He doesn’t fight or struggle and gives up pretty quickly. He’s from Sally’s OE marans eggs.
 
Speaking of bad breeding. LOL I need to get a picture but I have a serama that is hard feathered everywhere except its excuse of a tail and its frizzled and maybe an inch long.
