I am a very restless sleeper. I have to buy wide elastic and sew it on the corners of the fitted sheets to keep them on.

do you follow the elastic thats there already ? I know it has to be stretched

Im not opposed to trying to make one but to know how hard to pull the elastic , I dont know. I have gone over it in my head a few times and it seems hard.

Just pin it on with safety pins and adjust it how you want, then sew.

Thanks Twist. I will try them. They look like garter snaps. LOL The sheets wont go the bottom of the mattress but maybe they will work anyway

or maybe try them with a flat sheet as option 2 and see if they work for that. And yep that's what they are garters for beds/sheets
