So I got up and turned on the furnace. Went out, minded the monsters and poopy scooped, came back in...a little while later furnace was kicking on and off.

Yep, we're out of propane.

And we got a four year olds bday party to go to in about 40 minutes. So quickest shower in the world with hot water in the tank...praying it didn't go cold lol.

oh no ! better make it a fast one ! Can you get more on the weekend ? This house was all propane. I switched it over to all electric.

Oh yeah. We just have a tiny little 7 gallon tank - little bit bigger than your standard bbq (edit) tank - so it gets thrown in the trunk and we go to the gas station that has propane.

New house is all electric. Good and bad....good I don't have to worry about running out of juice. Bad...costs a bit more to run.

Sherry's hubby has those gage things in his ears I asked him the other day if that was so he could measure the amount of spaghetti noodles needed per serving ?? OMG looks so DUMB on 40 plus-ers (years)

LOL - that's one use for them. Not my cup o'tea at all, never understood the desire to have them but that applies to a lot of the stuff people do to their bodies so I try to just keep them in the "doesn't hurt me so whatever floats your boat" category.

No company. Just our bigger propane tank and the gas station. It's refilled now just in the back of my car lol.

They still have the for sale sign up by the main road for our new house. Haven't seen if they still have the sign in front of the house itself, haven't been by.

It took about 2 weeks for the realtor to pick up the sign after everything went through. They just nabbed it the next time they were in the area.

Today I need to actually get stuff done. Just got our first electric bill. Over $150 for 1 month. We will be burning more wood for sure and probably have to buy in at least a cord to help offset. Plus turning off as much other stuff as possible. Birds will no longer get supplemental light and the second house will be getting the heat turned down, too.

So, for today, I will be bringing in wood, cleaning and likely packing at the other house. We need to get it out of our name asap.
